Luca Berchialla
Luca Berchialla received his Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering from Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy. He obtained his Master’s degree in Micro- and Nanotechnologies for Integrated Systems from Polytechnic University of Turin, Grenoble INP - Phelma and EPFL. During his Master’s Thesis he spent six months at IBM Research Zurich in Rüschlikon, Switzerland, where he developed electrical characterization procedures for performance analysis of novel HfO2-based Resistive RAM devices. He joined the Laboratory for Mesoscopic Systems as a PhD student in October 2021.
Current Research Interests
Luca Berchialla focuses on the development of materials composites in order to establish novel magneto-mechanical systems and 3D artificial spin ices. He is also interested in advanced microfabrication techniques and additive manufacturing.
