Andreas Apseros

Andreas Apseros received his Bachelor and Master’s degree in Natural Sciences (Physics) from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, UK. For his Master’s thesis, he developed a reconstruction method for imaging the internal orientation field in three-dimensional antiferromagnetic materials using X-ray Linear Magnetic Dichroism, supervised by Dr. Claire Donnelly. He joined the Laboratory for Mesoscopic Systems as a PhD student in September 2020.
Current Research Interests
Andreas Apseros works on the improvement of magnetic imaging techniques, and using them to gain a fundamental understanding of the skyrmions formation, phase transition and dynamics.
