Claire Donnelly will receive the 2024 Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize of the German Research Foundation

Claire Donnelly, former PhD Student in Mesoscopic Systems, will receive the 2024 Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize of the German Research Foundation, which is Germany's most prestigious award for researchers in the early stages of their careers, and is intended to support further research endeavors for a period of three years.

Claire is currently the Group Leader of Spin3D at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids and TU Dresden, and her research is dedicated to the investigation and spatial visualization of the magnetic properties of tiny three-dimensional solid-state systems with a spatial resolution of a few tens of nanometers and a temporal resolution in the picosecond range.
