PSI Fellows
Diane Lançon and Jizhai Cui have been awarded PSI-FELLOW postdoctoral fellowships for 2017-2019. This is a prestigious award co-funded by the European Commission initiative Horizon 2020: Marie-Curie Action, and provides two-years support for outstanding researchers pursuing scientific careers at the Paul Scherrer Institute
Diane Lançon will develop resonant soft X-rays as a probe for magnetic diffuse scattering, so extending neutron scattering research on spin liquids. Jizhai Cui will create mesoscopic magneto-mechanical systems that can be exploited for medical applications such as blood vessel repair. Congratulations Diane and Jizhai!
